We've bred and/or owned 15 Graded Stakes Winners and 7 additional Graded Stakes Placed Horses for a total of 31 Stakes Winners (29 Blacktype) and 20 Stakes Placed Runners (All Blacktype). We've also owned or bred 4 California Champions, owned 2 Valkyr Trophy Winners and have won 24 California Sire Championships

Family Owned and Managed

Beginning in 1977 by Jim Auerbach, The Auerbach Family has been involved in the thoroughbred racing and breeding business for 40 years. The Auerbach's first horse was Bravo Bravo claimed at Santa Anita Park in 1977. He won his very first start for the family and set the wheels in motion .

Fast forward to today where Jim's wife Madeline and son Harris operate a stable of over 50, with operations based in both Southern California and Lexington, Kentucky. M.Auerbach, LLC. is a "womb to tomb" operation including horses of all ages and all life stages. We breed to sell- and offer opportunities for racing partnerships. Our horses are raised at the finest farms in Kentucky & California and we work with some of the best training and bloodstock professionals in the business. Additionally, we are intimately involved with horse charities and organiztions for the the betterment of the sport and the breed. Click on the links below for more information on us and our team.
