Session Topper for America's Friend at OBS June

Hip No. 426, a daughter of The Factor consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, went to East Hickman Bloodstock for $180,000 to top the second session of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2018 June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age. The gray or roan filly, who worked a quarter in :20 4/5 at Friday’s session of the Under Tack Show, is out of stakes winner America’s Friend, by Unusual Heat, a full sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Bel Air Sizzle and graded stakes placed Starspangled Heat. America's Friend won the 2008 Solana Beach Stakes at Del Mar and still holds the stakes record for that event. The filly is a 1/2 sister to a yearling colt by Mr.

Everybody Does It Just Does It

Everybody Does It goes wire to wire and wins a thrilling stretch duel to take a Starter Allowance Race at Golden Gate Fields. Sent off as the even money favorite, Everybody Does It was piloted to the lead by rider Catalino Martinez and cruised until the 3/8 pole where she was taken on by the game Chief Barbara. The two then fought it out to the finish where Everybody Does It prevailed by a nose for trainer and part owner Frank Lucarelli. Bred in California by M.Auerbach, LLC., the 2015 September Keeneland Yearling Sale Grad recorded the 3rd win of her career and her first of 2018.
