Majestic Heat Rises To Grade 2 Glory

Majestic Heat took to the dirt for the 2nd consecutive race and one again delivered a powerful performance dominating the $201,035 Grade 2 Bayakoa Stakes at Los Alamitos Race Course. Set off as the 3-1 third choice and expertly guided by Hall of Fame Rider Mike Smith, Majestic Heat settled early, galloped outside of other contenders and then was unleashed on the far turn to produce a powerful stretch kick propelling her to a 2 1/2

length margin of victory. Conditioned by Hall of Fame Trainer Richard Mandella, it is the first graded win for the 5 year old dark bay mare who has now amassed career earnings of $530,329 with 7 career victories, including 4 stakes wins and an overall record of 16-7-1-0. Bred in California by owners M.Auerbach, LLC. and Barry Abrams, Majestic Heat is co-owned with Ron McCauley. She is by Unusual Heat out of the Ole mare Chi Chi Nette and is a full sister to Multiple Stakes Winner and Grade 1 placed Mensa Heat, Multiple Stakes Placed Real Heat, $200,000 earner Empty Headed, Maiden Allowance Winners Phi Beta Heat and Hy Temp, 2 year old brother Heat Things Up and an unnamed yearling brother, all by the late Unusual Heat
