How Unusual circled the field and took over in deep stretch to capture the Grade 3 $102,415 Red Carpet Stakes at Del Mat at 1 3/8 miles on the firm turf course. America's Tale decided enough was enough and went wire to wire winning by an astounding 13 3/4 lengths in a Maiden Allowance at 1 mile on the dirt at Churchill Downs. The 2 year old bay lass was ultra efficient and impressive in beating the field of 8 runners in 1:36.15. Bred in Kentucky by M.Auerbach, LLC. and Catherine Parke, America's Tale was a $50,000 Keeneland September Yearling Purchase and a $100,000 Fasig-Tipton 2 year old in training. Trained by Bernard Flint for owner Naveed Chowhan, the 2 year old bay lass has now earned $85,550 in 5 career starts and boasts a record of 5-1-3-0. Majestic Heat Gets Down And Dirty

Majestic Heat had never raced on dirt and had never sprinted over the course of her 15 race, 3 year racing career. That all changed on Sunday November 12 at Del Mar when she took to the dirt sprinting and came away with an impressive romp victory in the $100, 690 Betty Grable Stakes for older Cal-bred Fillies and Mares at Del Mar.
