No Sloppy Seconds for Dr. Dorr

Sent off at 11-1 and a distant longshot to balley-hooed stablemate Ten Blessings, Dr. Dorr took to the wet fast slop at Santa Anita Park and scored an impressive come from behind driving win in a rapid 1:14.10. Under the capable handling of jockey Joe Talamo, the 5 year old dark brown gelding scored his first victory of 2018 and his 3rd lifetime win raising his career earnings total to $122, 120 with a record of 9-3-1-1. A Kentucky bred son of Lookin' At Lucky and Jax El (Unusual Heat), Dr. Dorr is campainged by trainer Bob Baffert for his wife Jill. Baffert co-bred the horse with M.Auerbach, LLC. and the late Jack Klugman. Dr Dorr has a 2 year old half sister by Midnight Lute, a yearling half brother by 2015 Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah and a weanling half sister by Bodemeister.
