Our Silver Oak storms home in a flash and draws off to a 2 length victory in his career debut in a Maiden Special Weight at Los Alamitos Race Course. The 2 year old gray colt broke sharply, took back, was behind a wall of horses around the turn and then was taken outside and stormed home under the capable handling of Stewart Elliott for the convincing victory. Bred in California by M.Auerbach, LLC., Our Silver Oak is by Unusual Heat and out of the Alphabet Soup mare Strawberry Flash. He is the first #AuerbachBred 2 year old winner of 2018 and the first Unusual Heat 2 year old winner of the year. Conditioned by Billy Morey for owners Michael Nentwig, Ray Pagano and Robert Jones, Our Silver Oak is a Barrett's August Select Yearling Sale graduate. Our Silver Oak has a 3 year old half sister named Alpine Strawberry (Fort Larned), a weanling 3/4 brother by Gervinho and his mother Strawberry Flash is believed in foal to Acclamation in 2018.
